PAT - Maternal Infant Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) – Feb 28th spa day – child care, crafts with children – Raffle Prizes 10:00-3:00 p.m. Family Strides - Donna L will email flier to all.
22 Families currently and 23 served - Still would like to receive referrals even when they are full
Education Connection - Busy
Brooker Memorial Hard to Engage Families met – still looking for data. April meeting will be planned. A plan will be designed of how to roll out.
New Beginnings – formally Continuum of Care - Submitting a grant for the Gathering Place -
Doubling the size of Ready Set Go preschool program this summer
Wellmore – Will take referrals for families in need – connects families to informal supports – slow at this point – 10 families and only 2 families currently enrolled – Spanish speaking – mental health supports

TECC Community Messenger Program will be rolling out in March. The group worked on TECC’s Birth – 8 Plan focused on the Child Growth Development - handouts on Results Based Accountability were reviewed

An idea to create a simple survey on what families’ priority areas are: Housing, Food, Transportation, Clothing etc . . .
CHILD FIRST – 32 families served – currently 27 (6 on wait list – 2 months approximately) – externalizing children and the finding there is a sibling with internalizing – need to open second case once first child is identified
Offered to come to speak to leadership teams
Receiving a lot of community referrals
Finding parents are in need of mental health supports as well.
Family Strides – Home Visitation Program has openings – has a male home visitor.

Maureen O’Neill-Davis - Attachment Trauma Network expanding their web site, Attending the public hearings for budget FY15
DCF is looking to add the ability to lean mortgages for modifications to homes to accommodate a child’s needs – looking for the foster family to reimburse if child does not stay 5 years
Several more commission hearings coming up – asked to have families who are foster parents to testify or provide testimony
Forbes School Governance Council – developing surveys for current perceived view of education
Litchfield County Pediatrics – Distributing Birth to Graduation Bags – in need of replacements
